How to avoid updating too often at dyndns.org

I read the abuse policy which states the most common cause is people inadvertantly updating their IP address using a client.

I am a little unclear of the DNS Update settings to choose which will only update Dynamic dyndns.org account when my local IP changes.

Could someone provide some guidance.

Hi Dan,

Just don't use the periodic update feature. 3DWatch will update only if the IP changed.
